North Carolina Obesity Society Membership Committee Chair
Jonathan Ray PA-C is an advocate for transforming obesity care and serves as Chair of the Membership and Public Relations Committee for NCOS. He hopes to improve access to person-centered healthcare and comprehensive weight management programs. He has worked in primary care and was a founder for an obesity medicine practice, but now serves in Atrium Health Virtual Care Weight Management. He lives in south Charlotte with his wife (Erin) and two kids (Jackson and Kennedy) and enjoys travel, making others laugh, and interval training.
Recruitment
Attracting new members from diverse professional backgrounds, including healthcare professionals, advocates, and individuals passionate about addressing obesity.
Engagement
Creating opportunities for members to connect, share ideas, and collaborate on initiatives that advance the Society's mission.
