Anyone who is interested in learning more about obesity, advocating, and networking. Any person with an interest in the field of obesity medicine can join. This includes community members, doctors, advanced practitioners, nurses, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, exercise specialists, health coaches, pharmacists, psychiatrist etc. We also welcome student members.
The North Carolina Obesity Society (NCOS) is a dynamic community uniting healthcare professionals and advocates dedicated to treating the disease of obesity. We provide a platform for education, collaboration, and networking, fostering innovation in obesity medicine across the state. By partnering with organizations like the Obesity Medicine Association, NCOS members enjoy exclusive benefits including discounted memberships and conference registrations. We are gearing up for our 2024 inaugural event. Please try to attend to meet our Board of Directors and other members as we gear up for 2025.
