 Join us for our Lunch & Learn event featuring Dr. John Parker, MD, as he explores ongoing obesity clinical trials in which he is actively involved. He will discuss study designs, underlying pathophysiology, and pharmacological approaches, highlighting their clinical significance. 

Dr. Parker practices at Wilmington Health, where he also served as Medical Director of an evidence-based obesity treatment program (Health Management Resources at Wilmington Health) for over 8 years. He also conducts clinical research in multiple areas of endocrine disorders, including hypercortisolism, obesity, hypothyroidism, and type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus, with Accellacare. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Endocrinology, as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Additionally, he is a proud board member of the North Carolina Obesity Society.
